What is Kidoodle.TV®?

Kidoodle.TV is a premiere streaming service devoted to providing safe, engaging, and inspiring experiences for children. We have an extensive global content library featuring over 25,000 episodes of popular TV shows, Kidoodle.TV Originals, educational and entertaining programming, gaming content and more. The content we feature varies by region with new shows added to the service regularly.

What is the Parents Room?

The Parents Room is your one-stop shop to managing your Kidoodle.TV account settings and child’s profiles. The Parents Room can be accessed from the Kidoodle.TV app on your mobile device or our website. Once accessed, you can customize your child’s profile, manage your subscription, update billing information, access useful information on your child’s screen time, adjust parental controls, and toggle shows on and off. Note: you must have a Freemium or Premium account to access the Parents Room.

Kidoodle.TV is available in over 160 countries and regions across the world. To access in your region, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play or any way you access Kidoodle.TV.

Is Kidoodle.TV® free?

On Kidoodle.TV you can watch your favorite shows for free (ad-supported). There’s no obligation to sign up or create an account. However, creating an account allows you to access the Parents Room where you can use our parental controls, upload personal videos with Family Moments™, or view without ads (premium accounts only). Premium account fees vary depending on region.

How do I remove ads.

If you wish to remove ads from your viewing experience, you can upgrade to our Premium plan for only $4.99USD per month. View our account options here

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

You can create a Freemium account on your mobile or streaming device. To upgrade to a Premium plan or change your account details you can log into your account here, enter the Parents Room, then click on Parents Account and make changes.

How can I watch Kidoodle.TV on the web?

You’ll first need to have Adobe Flash installed in order to watch on the web. If you still run into issues, please try the following steps:
1) In the URL field of your browser, find the lock icon at the far left, click on that.
2) Click on "Site Settings".
3) A new page will open, scroll down to flash.
4) Change from "ask (default)" to "allow".
5) Go back to the browser, it should ask you to reload and allow you to watch.

What’s the video quality of Kidoodle.TV programming?

We show only high quality, adaptive bit rate streaming of our shows direct to your devices, with up to 8K resolution.

How does Kidoodle.TV® ensure all shows are safe for my child?

Kidoodle.TV believes in Safe Streaming™ for all. Our dedicated quality assurance team watches every episode to make sure they’re safe for your family. With a Freemium or Premium account, parents have the option of turning individual shows on or off to better align with their family values.

What if I don’t want my child seeing a particular show?

Simply log into your Kidoodle.TV account (free or paid), enter the Parents Room, go to Kid Profiles. On this page you can customize each profile and set shows per age category or even turn individual shows on and off. That way your children are only seeing the shows you want them to.

Will my child’s personal data be safe?

Kidoodle.TV takes privacy seriously, and complies with both the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which means we do not collect or share your child's personal data. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Can Kidoodle.TV® help to manage my child’s screen time?

We appreciate that in today’s digital age there are times when children will access their screens. Whether it’s for learning or entertainment managing healthy screen time is incredibly important. With a Freemium or Premium account, parents can make use of a series of parental controls, including time limits, automatic shutdown, and a breakdown of viewing habits.

What type of commercials are shown on Kidoodle.TV?

If you are watching Kidoodle.TV as a guest or with a free account (Freemium), we run short advertisements during shows. Just like all our programming, all the ads shown are vetted by real people with a family-focus in mind. If you wish to pay for a Premium account, you will not see any ads during shows, find out more here.

How do I use Family Moments™?

The Family Moments™ feature allows families to upload, store, and share their home videos. Ever wanted to share a large video file with someone, but it’s too large to send by text message? Access the Family Moments™ section to upload videos direct from your device, or record directly into the app. Follow the prompts to label and share your videos.

How can I manage my account?

Once you’ve created an account you can access the Parents Room (through your smartphone, tablet, or our website) to completely customize your child's viewing experience. Change colors or avatars, turn shows on or off, and access relevant billing information.

How can I filter shows that I’m not interested in watching?

+

Check out the "Everybody's Watching" feature, it keeps the most watched shows in a top category making it easy to find. Additionally, once you watch a show or two, you’ll see the “Recently Played” category appear so you can see where you left off and what you’ve been watching.

Can I add favorites for shows my family watches frequently?

If you would like to filter out certain titles, please follow these steps:
1) On your mobile device navigate to the settings menu within the app (the gear icon).
2) Enter in your parental passcode.
3) Select the profile you would like to change settings on.
4) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and under the "Content" section, select "Title Selection".
5) From there you will be able to toggle with "On", "Auto" or "Off" for each title that's available on the app.

Why isn’t Kidoodle.TV® working?

We have worked hard to create a service that can be accessed across as many devices as possible, but as with all technology there are times when it may not work properly. There are a number of reasons why this can happen including simple connectivity issues to more complex ones. If you’re experiencing any issues, please try the following:
1. Confirm that you are connected to a WIFI network and that the connection is strong.
2. Close the app and re-launch it.
3. Sign out of your account (if you have one) and log back in.
4. Check to see if there is a recent update, and if so, update the app.
5. Delete the app from your device and re-install it.

If the problem persists, please contact us and we would be more than happy to try and find a solution.
When sending us a message, please take note of any error codes you may see, and provide as much
detailed information as possible, including the device you’re streaming on.

Does Kidoodle.TV® work while I’m offline?

Unfortunately, Kidoodle.TV is a streaming service and as such you must be connected to a WIFI network or use data to watch.

How do I reset my Parental Passcode needed to adjust Parental Controls?

To reset your Parental Passcode, please follow the steps below:
1) On your computer go to Kidoodle.TV and login to your account.
2) Click "Enter Parents Room"
3) Under the box to enter your PIN click "Forgot Parental Passcode?
It will then resend the passcode to the email address you signed up with.

I've signed up for the Premium model. How come I'm still seeing ads?

Sometimes, the app will need a reset to clear the old settings. Try logging out, deleting, re-installing, and logging back in again. If your problem continues to persist, please contact us either through our messenger or e-mail.

Why can't I find my favorite show?

We’re committed to adding as much new shows as often as possible. You’ll find our most recent additions in the “New Shows” category. If your favorite show isn’t there anymore you can find it in one of the categories that best describe it. Additionally, you can always use our handy “Search” function to find the show you’re looking for. Be sure to use exact spelling. We encourage you to look through the shows we have, and you may even find a new favorite!

How can I cancel my paid subscription?

Cancelling your subscription will depend on how you originally signed up. For instance, if you initially created your account through Roku, then you will have to manage your subscription details through your Roku account.

If you signed up through the Kidoodle.TV website, follow these steps:

1. On your computer, log into your account
2. Click “Enter Parents Room”
3. Click “Parents Account” Tab
4. Adjust your subscription and account as needed

How do I delete my account?

Be sure you that you do not have cancelled your paid subscription first. Once that is confirmed you can follow these steps:
1) On your computer, log into your account
2) Click "Enter Parents Room"
3) Click the "Parent's Account" tab
4) Scroll down and click "Deactivate Account"
5) Follow the prompts

Can you cancel my account for me?

We are sad to see you go! For privacy reasons, we cannot cancel your account for you. By following the above steps, you can easily cancel your account or adjust your account settings.

Does Kidoodle.TV® accept unsolicited submissions from Content Providers?

We are actively growing our content offering and love to hear from all content providers. If you have content suitable for children 12 and younger, contact us. Please be patient with us, as it takes our team some time to review all submissions.
